The Moments of High Resolve
Share
Keep fresh before me the moments of my high resolve.
Despite the dullness and barrenness of the days that pass, if I search with due diligence, I can always find a deposit left by some former radiance. But I had forgotten. At the time it was full-orbed, glorious, and resplendent. I was sure that I would never forget. In the moment of its fullness, I was sure that it would illumine my path for all the rest of my journey. I had forgotten how easy it is to forget.
There was no intent to betray what seemed so sure at the time. My response was whole, clean, authentic. But little by little, there crept into my life the dust and grit of the journey. Details, lower-level demands, all kinds of cross currents -- nothing momentous, nothing overwhelming, nothing flagrant -- just wear and tear. If there had been some direct challenge --a dear-cut issue -- I would have fought it to the end, and beyond.
In the quietness of this place, surrounded by the all-pervading Presence of God, my heart whispers: Keep fresh before me the moments of my High Resolve, that in fair weather or in foul, in good times or in tempests, in the days when the darkness and the foe are nameless or familiar, I may not forget that to which my life is committed.
Keep fresh before me the moments of my high resolve.

LIFE IS A BIG CARNIVAL
OPENING NIGHT IN ANTWERP WAS THE NIGHT WE ALL WERE WAITING READY FOR. THE NIGHT TO HEAR THE AUDIENCE ROAR AND FEED OFF THEIR ENERGY. IT WAS PRETTY EXCITING TO BE ON STAGE AGAIN AND SEEING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DANCING TO THE MUSIC. THE RUSH YOUR BODY GOES THROUGH WHEN PERFORMING LIVE IS A HIGH LIKE NO OTHER. ITS RIDING YOUR FAVORITE ROLLER COASTER SMILING AND LAUGHING THROUGH OUT THE RIDE. THAT WAS MY FEELING THAT NIGHT!!! I DANCE FOR THE LOVE OF IT AND I SHINED MY LIGHT BRIGHT TO THE WORLD AND THAT GIFT NO ONE CAN TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME.
THE SHOW WILL JUST GET BETTER AND BETTER ONCE WE GET INTO A DESCENT FLOW. I WOULD SAY THAT BEING BACK TO EUROPE AGAIN IT FEELS LIKE A SECOND HOME, I NO LONGER FEEL LIKE A FOREGINER UNTIL I HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH A LOCAL LOL. WALKING AROUND THE FAMILIAR CITIES GRASPING THE MOMENT, AND REMINISCING THE PAST ,AND MY SURROUNDING ITS A BLESSING THAT I CARRY WITH ME AT ALL TIMES. THE DIFFERENT EMOTIONS YOU GO THROUGH AT TIMES ITS JUST A SURFACE OF YOUR TRUE SELF. EACH RIDE ITS AN OUTLET OF EMOTIONS POURING OUT. MY JOURNEY THIS YEAR ITS BEEN UNFOLDING AND I'M READY TO RECEIVE IT AND ALSO GIVE. I HAVE MY SEATBELT READY FOR THIS ONE.
THE PICTURE ABOVE IS FROM ZURICH TODAY ON OUR DAY OFF.LUCKILY THEY HAD A CARNIVAL NEAR BY AND OF COURSE I RODE THE RIDES AND ATE CANDY :)

UNITED AIRLINES COST MORE THAN RENT

Well as some of you know I'm off on another world tour this time with Rihanna another artist another adventure. Tuesday morning was our departure date from LAX to Chicago to Brussels than a 45 minute drive to ANTWERP. Talk about a LONG traveling day right. Once I arrived at LAX my palms started to get sweaty and heart start beating rapidly the anxiety of check in and security gives me a bit of a rush at times. United airlines makes you go through those emotions once you approach the self check in booth.I proceed to check in paid for the two luggage which was $50.00 dollars. The teller ask me to put my luggage one at a time on the scale of course they were overweight lol. She speaks with no remorse and hesitation its going to be $150.00 each. I said"excuse me $150.00 total". She looked at me and said "NO $150.000 each how do you want to pay". I was in shock and had to take a second to process what she just said. I gave her my card she swipes and says its not working. I'm like great more small problems to start on my day. I asked politely to try again she looks with an annoying face and swipes.. nada. She abruptly says "call your bank if not there is a ATM downstairs." and she helps the next customer. I called my bank and everything was good apparently there was a problem with their machine but she didn't want to admit it. After I paid in cash $300.00 for overweight(really united really) I took a deep breathe and proceed to security check in. Those are always fun because its the only time you are allow to get undress in public and not get arrested. A hour after we board apparently there is 1st class, business, economy plus, and economy well we flew economy on our first flight. Economy on united is the equivalent feeling of being on the back of the bus. No AC no leg room and crammed seats. Yea not the most pleasant way to fly. I was seating with 2 rednecks that looked like I was food once I took my seat. I was great here we go!!! During the flight I think they came fond of me because I felt a knee against mines and a hand on my elbow while sleeping. Maybe I was his teddy bear lol. 3 hours later we landed in Chicago straight to a connected flight to Brussels. I went up to the counter and asked for an upgrade. uhmm $646 for business or $97 for extra leg room and AC. I gave her my card that WORKED fine and got into ECONOMY PLUS. 8 hour flight and I slept like a baby :)my total cost for my flight was $447 yikes but hey I made it safe to Antwerp.
